Context
Our client is an internationally recognized institute of higher education specializing in teaching and training in the creative arts. Two of our campuses in France offer training in the following fields: audiovisual cinema, animation, video games, sound, design, entertainment technology, etc. The school wants to promote its training programs in China to attract Chinese students to France.
Issues
To promote its activities in China, the school employs a Chinese staff member based in Shanghai, supported by a local partner, whose support solution is coming to an end. Maintaining this “local representation” is essential to the institute’s development.
Proposed solution
Salveo, through its subsidiary in China, offers the school an immediately operational solution: the Chinese employee is hired on the Salveo China payroll, and salaries and expenses are managed locally.
The Chinese employee is now once again operational in compliance with local social legislation, enabling the Institute to ensure the continuity of its local presence in China.
