Our customer is a global group with sales of close to 20 billion euros and 100,000 employees worldwide in some 30 countries.
It is an automotive parts manufacturer, supplying spare parts to automakers and the aftermarket.
With a strong presence in Africa, and particularly in the Maghreb, our customer generates sales of just over 5 million euros in Algeria, with a number of local importers and distributors.
Issues
The company’s sales do not meet the growth targets set.
Algeria’s highly restrictive regulations do not encourage investment or the creation of a subsidiary. This would enable our customer to set up a local sales force to boost the market, which is currently dominated by the competition.
As a result, our customer estimates that it is missing out on 10 to 15 million euros in additional sales in this market!
